FRIENDS OF THE NEW MILFORD LIBRARY
Next meeting 3/24/26 at 6pm in Memorial Hall (2nd floor )
MARCH
This is Connecticut, so winter isn’t going away yet! There are sure to be some cold and snowy days
ahead, so plan some indoor activities. March is National Craft Month, so why not resurrect a hobby
you once enjoyed, or learn something new? FRIENDLY FINDS will be showcasing books on a
variety of crafts – browse through the shelves to find a how-to book for a craft that speaks to you,
then roll up your sleeves and get creative. Other topics being highlighted in March are Pi Day (look
through the cookbooks and find a pie recipe!) and Women’s History Month. The FRIENDS of the
Library use proceeds from these book sales to fund museum passes and many varied programs at
the library. You get to enjoy the books and the benefits! Cash, check, or Venmo are accepted. We
gratefully accept donations of books in good condition that you no longer need or want. Volunteers
will be at the back entrance of the library every Saturday from 9:30 until Noon for assistance. (You
can also return books that you previously purchased from the FRIENDS!) To learn more, visit our
website at www.FONML.com or e-mail us at FONML001@gmail.com
If you would like to be added to our email list - please email us at FONML001@gmail.com
Just a reminder- Due to space and storage limitations, we are unable to accept large donations of more than 5 boxes at a time. If we are unable to accept your items, consider donating to Goodwill or Vietnam Vets at https://pickupplease.org/donate-in-waterbury-ct/
